EXPERIMENTAL PLANNING APPLICATION IN THE HARDBOARD PANELS MAKING
Main Article Content
Abstract
This work demonstrates an experimental planning application in product quality improvement process. Three factors were analyzed in this study, which could affect hardboard panels thickness variation: utilization of a compensation plaque between the press platens; the day of sampling in function of the press stop for maintenance, and the sampled dish position in the press. The utilized planning was the fractionary planes in two levels, with eight tests and three factors. The results showed that the experimental planning is efficient as a quality control support tool, and it permits taking preventive and/or corrective decision steps that can contribute to improve product quality.
